What is the need of such an URL ?
http://bp-fr.net/2011/07/mise-a-jour-majeure-avec-bp-1-2-9-wp-3-2/comment-page-1/#comment-261The part part /comment-page-*/ specific to BP, favorates duplication in search engines IMO
WP habitually use this kind of url
/domain.com/post-slug/#comment-*On SWA, the URI comes with the unique ancored #post-*,
So, why use
http://bp-fr.net/2011/07/mise-a-jour-majeure-avec-bp-1-2-9-wp-3-2/comment-page-1/
which is exactly the same as:
http://bp-fr.net/2011/07/mise-a-jour-majeure-avec-bp-1-2-9-wp-3-2/Thanks for explanation

, your answer is more to “how it works”, and not “why does it work like this”. Because search engines register both uri, and this is not really good for SEO in my mind.
Probably better i ask on the WP forum.Other answers are anyway welcome here.
