How to let users register as different identity/groups?

Hi,

I have to create two user groups in Buddypress, so that users can register as “student” or “teacher” at the very first place.

I’ve added a group in BuddyPress profile panel, but how to let users choose their identity (group) when registering?

I’ve added a group in BuddyPress profile panel…

If you add / move that group into the Base (Primary) field group in wp-admin > Users > Profile Fields, then it will appear on the registration screen.
