Populate signup_email at registration > how?

Hi, Does anyone know what’s the trick to be able to populate the BP registration fields with values extracted from ex. from a previous contact7 form?
I tried following URLs
register/?signup_email=test@test.com
wp-register.php?signup_email=test@test.com
wp-signup.php?signup_email=test@test.combut nothing happens, the email field remains empty.
