Fiddling with the regitration form using a standard wordpress plugin

Hiya, I’m using a wordpress plugin called user locations http://codecanyon.net/item/user-locations/128023 to add location data to all my site users and display it in a google map and I’m having a bit of trouble getting it to work with buddypress.
The plugin adds a field called “location” to the standard wordpress registration form but it doen’t add this field to the buddypress form, are these 2 refernced in different ways? Is there a hook reference or similar that i could update to convert this plugin to buddypress compatible?
Any tip massively appreciated!
