Oh wow… your site looks amazing. Did you get a custom template done for BuddyPress? If so, what company designed that for you? I just love everything you have done. Are you using WPMU?
I didn’t see an option to add a blog to the network that already exits. Or do you just want to be a platform for new bloggers?
Looks good. The search image is broken in Safari 4.
hi there, thanks for the comments. I appreciate that.
@webgyrl – I designed it by myself, and yes I am using WPMU with BuddyPress
@techguy – there is possibility to import existing blogs and point domains to my server
@modemlooper – thanks to let me know. I have checked it on FF 3.6+, IE6+ and Opera 9+
nicely done! nicely done! would you release a copy of your theme or some variation of it… pretty please… well done !
@porscheheritage – thanks. sorry, but at this moment I am busy with other jobs so I am not able to modify it for public use. But I will think about that in future if I decide to change look of the network
Hey again, Happy New Year to everyone! With the new year new design of my network has come, too. Check it out and do let me know your opinion. Thank you! http://blogatize.net
Not really my style, but it looks nice.
@xevo anyway thanks! I would love to see what design is your style…I love to learn
Still working on my own buddypress site, but I like plain colours without too many gradients and a nice amount of whitespace.
Tag clouds are dead btw, they’re only usefull for seo now a days.
yep, I know about the tags, but I use them to let people what’s hot in my network…
That’s quite a few blogs you have your network. Nicely done. How are you tracking the Google Adsense across the network? You could use channels, but you can’t create that many channels and there’s no automated way to make channels. How do you know which blogs are generating the adsense revenue?
I’d also love to hear what social components you see used most between the various blogs, and if you use any other plugins to “connect” the blogs across the whole network.
@crashutah The Adsense is generated through an ads plugin and you are right, there are no channels for any blog. It’s impossible to track it with the plugin. For networking blogs I have used simply sitewide activity plugin, similar topics plugin and sitewide tags. Nothing more, nothing less …
@romik84 Ok, so if you’re not tracking each blog by channel, how do you know how much to pay each blogger?
@crashutah in my network I use an ads sharing. The ads plugin generates a code which shows my code and bloggers code in a ratio. They get paid through their ads account.
I got you. That makes sense. Which plugin do you use to do it if you don’t mind me asking?
@crashutah no problem, the plugin is Author Advertising WPMU Edition http://www.harleyquine.com/code/author-advertising-plugin/ . But I think it’s not supported anymore. But it still works
Beautiful Site. Are you using buddystream?
You must share some of your CSS-HTML tricks!
Thanks for the info. What kind of server and cacheing have you enabled? That’s a lot of blogs to be hosting.
@gunju2221 thank you. No, I don’t use that. Honestly, hear about that first time .
@crashutah I am using dedicated server with WP-Super cache. I am planning to change my host provider (maybe Hostgator?) and I would love to hear some tips if you have for a good performance and good price .
