The BuddyPress “About” page says BP is not “all or nothing”. PressHow much can I limit and customize BP?

e.g. I’d like to do the following:
BP site’s landing page should be Group Directory
Group landing page should be Members List
Members’ landing page should be Profile page
Groups should not have Forums
There should not be a Site Activity Stream
Members should be able to upload multiple photos of theirs (and I should be able to limit this to n number of photos)
Only I should be able to create Groups
