Is it me not using it right or does the BuddyPress forum search take you to the BuddyPress blog each time? The search I am using is at the top of this page (beneath Themes Support Download).

For example, if you enter “avatar cropping” and hit go, it takes you to the list of blog posts.

If this is expected behaviour, is there a dedicated forum search where we can search forum posts?

We are aware of the issue. Google has indexed buddypress.org pretty well, so you can use Google in the meantime … search “buddypress.org key words or phrases and/or username”
