I think you need to run CHMOD on the parent directory to something like 755

I have only used wordpress standalone + BP though. But worth a try.

Is there a way to enable ping “@ + username” becoming a link when you post in a forum when you have the activity component disabled?

I have disabled activity streams but would like to use the ping function.

Anyone who pulled that off? Any ideas are welcome. Thanks!

I have tried de-activating and re-activating it, still not working. When I check the group documents folder, the document is uploaded. Changing folder permissions it now logs this error:

“gd-jpeg: JPEG library reports unrecoverable error: Wrong JPEG library version: library is 62, caller expects 70”

Any ideas?

I have used group document plugin on localhost WP 2.9.2 BP 1.2.4 worked just fine. It doesnt seem to work with BP 1.2.5.2

Anyone with any idea why? Anyone having same issues?

Hi,
How do I disable home tab in the group page? I have deactivated “activity stream” and therefore the group home page is empty.

Is there a way to remove the home tab and maybe specify forum tab as the default page when a user clicks on a group?

Any help will be appreciated.

Does anyone know how to change the default upload directory to something else. Say a folder on root?

@glamgrif, Much appreciated for the link. I’ve just tried it in a buddypress install. True that it doesnt work at all for buddypress. I’ll probably look into launching a different stylesheet as well.

@glamgrif Thanks for the links. I’ll check them out just now. I am using the default theme at the moment and was keen on the forums being mobile browser friendly.
Care to give me a link to the plugin?
