yeah and im having the problem since yesterday. i had to shut my site down and its now useless because of that issue. i really need a solution

Well ronia, at least you can see the avatars
I can’t see my own.Hey doug. I have the same issue, you’re not alone.
@r-a-y I also applied 1.2.5.2 and nothing changed…
I applied the patch but it didn’t work

I applied the patch and still have the avatar issue. I can’t see the avatars on my root site

Still has the same problem…
@r-a-y The second blog has another upload directory for itself. So it’s ok to have another blog. But what’s the problem with my root blog?
May it be because of I have two blogs installed? The other blog doesn’t use BP. It’s just a blog to post our new developments and news. May it be the reason?
I tried several snippets. It’s not working

I tried that too. When I change the variable to suit my install, I only get gravatar avatars which are otomatically generated. This didn’t help either.

When I locate the file from FTP, I see the avatar file is there. The path:
wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/group-avatars
It replaces the path with adress.com/files/group-avatars
It’s still working in my beta site with the same way.
@r-a-y I’ve uploaded an SS for the group avatar to the ticket:

Yes Ray. BP is activated network wide. And the link you gave me which John is working on it is the same with my problem.
And I can’t upload a new avatar to replace the existing one. I tried to upload 1.2.41 version back but it didn’t work. My site is down for 15 hours due to this problem.
You need to add this to container:
Code:margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;This might work…
Yes Ray. Avatars were working before I upgrade to 1.2.5 from 1.2.4.1
My bad.. Sorry for my English. I tried to edit .htaccess and move ms-files.php into wp-content. I replaced the code in my .htaccess and nothing changed. It didn’t work. But I worked for my beta site when I upgraded there.
I also have a beta site. When I upgraded WP MU to WP 3.0 and BP 1.2.4.1 to BP 1.2.5, everything was fine. And beta site still works stable. But root site has problems…
@r-a-y I tried to move and edit .htaccess but nothing changed. When I upgraded BP 1.2.5, I refreshed the page and couldn’t see the avatars.
What else should I do?
Yes. I upgraded WPMU to WP 3.0 last week.
@r-a-y Thanks.
I upgraded it last week and didn’t have any problem. I had the missing avatar problem today when I upgrade from 1.2.4.1 to 1.2.5
I’m using WP 3.0 and BP 1.2.5
When I check it from phpmyadmin, I see all avatar URL’s are: blogs.dir/1/files/1/
Second “1” must be group id. But it’s not…
I’ve cleared the codes in functions.php and bp-custom.php
It just happened today after I upgraded from 1.2.4.1 to 1.2.5
It happened suddenly and I’m triyng to fix it for hours

I had to close my site down until I solve it. Tsk tsk…OK, I’m trying to fix it for 7 hours. Can anyone help me please? I couldnt solve it
