hey, can you explain: Did you configure BuddyPress in a subsite instead of the main site
thanks
hey what do you mean move WP to the root (sorry, i’m a newb)?
when i go to my ftp, i see under my html folder 3 wp folders: wp-admin, wp-content, wp-include. do i need to do anything to these folders?i activated it via network admin.
i have the newest versions of both, 3.6/1.8.1
no other plugins activated except bpwhat do you mean by configuring bp in a subsite instead of main site? i have my network site, and my other site, it’s activated on my network site, and it goes to my registration page when i’m on the other site.
happening to me to, but i’m on a multisite. it was working on a single, but not multi
so i did a full uninstall, wiped ftp site clean, and then re-install. still doesn’t work.
but i did find that it works when it’s a single site install, but as soon as i turn it into a multi-site, new registrations via buddypress don’t work.i’m desperate here…
anyone out there???
i found this site, http://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/cant-register-new-bp-account-help , where he did a full database restore. how do i do that??
hey, it was working before but it recently stopped. i haven’t done anything different recently. i did install a new theme, so i switched it back to twenty twelve but still didn’t work. so the wp install works.
also, i don’t think it’s an email issue. because when i register a new user, i should be able to see them in through admin panel even if they haven’t activated their account (by clicking on email). but i can’t see new users at all.
any insights or help???
