@Anton, ja, you are right. It was my mistake. I thought, if the friends component is deactivated, there is no members directory.
But that’s just in my fantasy… There is no way, to turn off members, for this you have to turn off buddypress :-), I will upload a fixed version 1.3.1 soon.

Replace current_user_can with only something a admin and mod can do, such as edit_post.. Check the user roles abilities.

I’m receiving the same error as @gregfielding and @anton – MU 2.9.2 BP 1.2.3 “Could not retrieve details for userid….please try again” unfortunately had to disable 🙁
