Has anyone used either plugin and can tell me which one is good for member to submit post for frontpage and to review by admin first appearing? I also saw some on wordpress plugin directory and it’s very confusing. Why did @apeatling create two different kind?

Here’s a thought — and I say it with respect. Maybe @apeatling should just make all the mods to BuddyPress.org public so members can package them up as BP plugins. @apeatling Hi andy; it the “possible future ideas” of BP 1.4; could you change the link to BuddyPress QuickPress with One Click Post ?
It’s the new version of the same plugin, which is now compatible with WP too.

@apeatling I need help understanding BuddyPress Template Pack usage. I’ve installed and activated the BuddyPress Template Pack, and my buddypress pages are are skinned using my theme, but most of my changes to the BP files in my theme directory are not reflected on the BP pages.

On “https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/bp-template-pack/” ther is just the note that it is all broken or that there is not enough data.

@apeatling Andy – Will there be a plugin developed that will take the Ning Network Archiver’s output and import it into BuddyPress? Ning now exports all of our content and we want to move to BuddyPress before Ning cuts us off!

Which versions of WordPress and BuddyPress are you running? This plugin has not been updated for 9 months, https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/bp-fbconnect/

You should contact @apeatling, the author, and ask him if he plans on updating his plugin.
