Don’t edit the parent theme, this will give you grief down the road. Instead create a new child theme and copy the header.php template into it. Make your edits then activate that theme instead.
Two words: object cache.

Just use the stylesheet_url if it’s a child theme. Or get_stylesheet_directory_uri()
I know someone who is working on this and I’ve seen a demo. I think he’s hoping to release it as a plugin soon.

Delete the plugin, refresh your plugins admin page. Re-upload the plugin, re-activate. Make sure you are using 1.1.1.
You can use the activity stream to pull this information and then filter it.

This will list the last 10 forum topics or forum posts site wide.
That function is present in 1.1.1 – are you positive you are using that version?

Nothing happened to the databases, there was no change in 1.1.1 from 1.1. Make sure you’re looking in the right place.

I’ll get to the bottom of this blank page issue at some point, it’s impossible to track down.
If you’re worried then just do it manually.
If you build themes, upload them to the WordPress theme directory and tag them “buddypress”. They will show up on this site once approved.
Don’t touch anything in bp-sn-parent. You should override the code in your child theme only.
