@nettantra I’ve been looking for something to do just what you’ve done with BuddyPress xProfiles ACL, but I keep getting this when I try to activate the plugin.

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Parse error: parse error in wp-contentpluginsbuddypress-xprofiles-aclbuddypress-xprofiles-acl.php on line 240

  Just replace each <?= or <? you find in the code with <?php echo or <?php

I’ve just figured out how I can setup additional profile groups to use as different user types. How can I set or change a user’s profile group? I’d like to do this either when they register for a new account or after the fact, just anytime. Is this possible? Thanks.

What exactly is a profile group?
More specifically, what is “Base profile group name” all about?
Why does it need to show a user the profile (group they’re in?) when updating their profile?
How do I create more profile groups?
Pretty sure this isn’t the case, but are Profile Groups the same as Groups?
