hi sorry for the very long time to reply (been ill).
ive come back to work on my site and yes sorry ive noticed the plugin is social articles.
it does basically what i am after, but it doesnt let users include images with their article.
basically what im trying to acheive is like the admin would get when posting an article, but i want it front end for clients and not accessing the wp admin section.
my website is http://www.healthdigital.uk
this may be old but ive just ran into similar issue, when uploading a profile pic you get to crop but you cant see anything, just a tiny black blob on the screen.
i am using the feature within buddypress to bring the ability to add articles/groups.
it basically shows up like this site comment box, just basic text.
@Venutius, article as in any news site you read it has text and images in the article.im able to allow users to add an article, set feature image, assign to category but in the actual body text its like this site, basic text no feature to add media.
this can be done via the admin (backend) but i dont want users accessing my site via wordpress backend, id like them to do it via front end.
even if you are admin, theres no media upload, you just get a basic text box.
ive just noticed the same thing, its defo something with the theme inspirebook.
if i switch to a different theme it works, i can upload cover images to profile and group.
if i enable the theme again, i cant.
i have deleted the theme and uploaded it again and still nothing.
i have disabled all plugins except buddypress and still the same, so wondering what it could be
i suddenly noticed the same, the options are enabled.
when i go to my profile and click change profile image i no longer see the upload image feature, just a blank tab.
i can upload profile pics ok
i cant also set cover images to groups either,
sorry please delete, found the answer by changing the wording in google.
