I’ve had no luck debugging this. It seems the no-cache response header is being set in two places:

Just following up on this previous query. We had dialogue with Mediapress which we use too. They’ve replied outlining the query though ultimately lies in BuddyPress settings. See below fore reference:

@djpaul — are you saying that existing sites with transactional email systems will continue to work if they upgrade to 2.5 (we have clients using both SendGrid and Mandrill – via their recommended WP plugins)?

my best suggestion is to try and reinstall WordPress and BuddyPress & bbPress manually via ftp.
If that doesn’t work, you’re best bet is to reinstall the most recent versions of those (before the upgrade of course) and then upload your most recent .sql backup via phpmyadmin to restore your site pre-upgrade.Once your site is back…[Read more]

@hnla yes, for accessibility reasons it makes sense… re: ie6, i agree. which is why i favor the simplest structure… everything inline and relative. Makes for more consistency cross-browsers and less ie hacks required.
