You have to use the separate bbPress plugin. It’s better.

BP is bundled with an old out of date version of bbPress, which we’re removing in the future.

If the images are hardcoded in your theme, you should be able to adjust the paths. I was wondering if you were asking about uploaded content in the media library.

@mercime we should update the codex and remove any instructions about using group forums, and make sure people use the plugin.
