Am curious to see what you did… I only included the “/” after the URL when I created the App and it works for me. Are you able to import and export to facebook now?

I’m assuming you downloaded the non-working version from buddypress and not the working one from buddystream with regard to the zip?

@DJPaul I have wordpress 3.0.1, buddypress Version 1.2.4.1 and Achievements Version 1.23 Installed

some of my pages show this at the bottom

  Yeah, the 1.23 version of Achievements doesn’t and is not meant to work with the current version of BuddyPress. Good news is I am about to release a brand new version, Achievements 2.0, which does. It’ll be released either this weekend or next week, not sure yet.

  That’s your site name. I can’t take it off the current version of Welcome Pack, unfortunately. Trying to find a way to do it for the next release.

  You need to customise the WordPress theme to work with BuddyPress. This is too involved to go into in this message, but if you search/post on the forums, you will find some information.

@DJPaul Seems this site has a serious SPAMMER signup problem. Look at the Recently active members widget and it’s filled with weirdo named accounts.

  The site shares the main WordPress.org user database. All of the spam signups won’t have originated from this site. However AFAIK only @apeatling and @johnjamesjacoby have Admin access to the backend here.

    The crop only works if IE8 is set to “compatibility mode” which is a major problem for this side of the world. It looks like an issue with the jcrop script. Please let me know if you encounter any solutions.

Will do, @djpaul. This was one of the factors for contacting you about potential work in the future. It’s a huge research interest of mine and something I’d love to be able to do at the moment in BuddyPress as a way to further prove its worth as a LMS.

I disabled all plugins and changed the theme to default. The avatar crop still didn’t work in IE8… and since the site is live I had to switch it back to my custom theme.
