It’s auto linked that Url. Thanks for sharing with us what you found to be a helpful resource!
In reply to: Where do you find BuddyPress developers?I’ll send you an email later… I’m also going to lock this thread as per the normal with these “looking for coder” posts; people can see you are after some work done and can contact you via the messages section of this site.
In reply to: Generate username (+ blog url) from fullnameOne way off the top of my head would be to inject a JavaScript into the registration page – you’d use the BP name function to get what you want. There is already Wp code for “sanitizing” blog post names, and perhaps other areas too. Then it’s a matter of using the JavaScript to set the HTML field’s value, and CSS to hide it.
In reply to: Activation link show me errorsI have a version I asked someone to test for me, but I haven’t heard back. I need someone with this “headers already output” error to test a new build on their site; I’d need them to test creating a user “with blog” and a user “without blogs” options, and have all the Welcome Pack settings enabled – and let me know if everything works and if the error goes away.
Mail me at gmail.com if you’re interested.
In reply to: Commenting redirects to first post — problemDo you mean a reply on a forum post? If so, I know about that problem.
In reply to: Member Directory – order by first name? Not unless you want to code it yourself. Suggest you make an enhancement ticket on https://trac.buddypress.org/.
In reply to: Request for comments – “Draggables” pluginIt’s dependant on 2.8 because that comes with a newer version of jquery which apparently has needed bugfixes. Ultimately I want to convert the feature of this plugin into a patch proposal for BP, but Burt suggested that it starts life as a plugin until the main stuff is done and if it approved by Mr Peatling.
In reply to: Request for comments – “Draggables” pluginWell you DID ask what the issue was!
nevermind

Uncomment lines 75-84 in the javascript file, then work on the draggable_load() func at the top of the file. Basically whilst it does “load” the position on a page refresh, it doesn’t reorder the blocks properly, they get stuck together. Bit difficult to explain but try it and look at what you have selected when you start to drag but before you release the mouse.
In reply to: bpContents 1.0 alpha 4 Released – CategoriesWell done!
In reply to: Removing Userbar LoginSorry, read your post earlier as that top bar! Oops!
Yes.
In reply to: Removing Userbar Loginremove_action( 'bp_adminbar_menus', 'bp_adminbar_login_menu', 2 );
Put it into/make a file called bp-custom.php. I think it lives in /plugins/buddypress/, but I’m sure someone will correct me if it isn’t.
In reply to: activity-stream per Blogs, Groups, Friends, etc. It’s running the trunk version of BuddyPress. The filtered activity streams is a feature that is going to come in BuddyPress 1.1 – see this roadmap for details.
I’d strongly recommend against running the trunk copy, before you ask

In reply to: “Send To” Error in “Compose Message”https://trac.buddypress.org/changeset/1562 – see, fixed already
Looks like $blog_meta is always going to be an array, even if it borks out and there is nothing useful within that array. So I am thinking the cookie ‘bp_xprofile_meta’ is not being set
In reply to: Forum Notice to Site Wide Activity BugThere are several threads already about this. The answer is, is that it is a known issue and last I knew Andy Peatling had plans to fix this.
In reply to: “Send To” Error in “Compose Message”Good spot. Please file this as a ticket on https://trac.buddypress.org/ – use the same username and password that you do here. Thanks.
