In reply to: WordPress MU 2.8.1 Released
Yep, Obuisson1976 is correct. It is as if the add_filter call is ignored.
In reply to: WPmu BBPress BdPress – in which order?There is a bug with running the latest version of WordPress MU and BuddyPress together. I am not aware of a proper fix yet, keep your eye on https://buddypress.org/forums/topic/wordpress-mu-281-released.
In reply to: WordPress MU 2.8.1 ReleasedI’ve just done a successful upgrade, with a few minor issues which are now noted in the original post.
In reply to: BuddyPress Future w/o MVC: Big Deal?I’m perfectly entitled to not pay attention to the MVC-or-not structure of both WordPress and Buddypress, as I don’t work for Automattic and I’m not a core developer on either.
In reply to: BuddyPress Future w/o MVC: Big Deal?In my opinion – not aiming this at you – if there’s someone moaning about how any particular bit of software is not written following MVC, they have two options – write their own, or shut up.
BuddyPress isn’t going to be any more “patchy” than WordPress is. I’m not even sure what you are trying to imply by “patch job”, either.

In reply to: Where to get theme of this buddypress forum?This theme on buddypress.org website and the forums is not going to be released publicly. There are several posts on the forum stating this, and this answer’s been given several times.
If this situation ever changes, I am sure that we will all find out at the same time – but don’t hold your breath.
In reply to: Fatal error when trying to activate1) Is your web root actually /www/www?
2) And is Buddypress installed here? /wp-content/plugins/buddypress/
In reply to: BuddyPress forums now use pretty permalinksNice work Sam!
You could try using v1.0 of BBPress (random guess)
No, you just literally have to go into the /wp-admin/ backend. Any page, just once, you don’t have to click anything.
In reply to: User pointsnothing new to add yet.
In reply to: Controlling email notificationsIn reply to: Theme function.php is not loaded firstI’d argue that if you had things you wanted to put into a bp-custom.php file, then creating the new files would not prove a problem.
In reply to: Welcome Pack 1.22 install bug?I’ll give it a go later, thanks
In reply to: Activation link show me errorsAh that’s a good idea. I’ll either put that in as a toggle-able option or change the default behaviour. I’ll get a new release out next Friday, in case anyone else has feedback. Thanks!

In reply to: Welcome Pack 1.22 install bug?FYI: a better place for bug reports is my email address, or via a Message on this site. I may miss a thread.
Unless you happen to have your own class also called “DP_WelcomePack_BP_Messages_Message”, it must be trying to include welcome-pack.php twice. Which is odd.
Check you only have one welcome-pack.php in your plugins & mu-plugins folder. Can you give me some steps so I can recreate this? I’ve just tried a few things and I can’t get it to trigger. Thanks.
In reply to: Activation link show me errorsWhew, at least one happy customer

No problem! Let me know if you manage to break it or think of a new feature that’d go in well with its current features.
In reply to: Activation link show me errorsWelcome Pack v1.22 just pushed to the WordPress plugin svn. Expect to see it up in an hour or so. #buddypress
In reply to: BP Signature Profile pluginI’m not aware of anything like this.
Woah, way to go resurrect a SIX MONTH OLD post.
$function = $_POST['action'];
$function();
function bp_classifieds_update_tree() {
global $bp,$wpdb;
if (!check_admin_referer('classifieds-settings') ) {
echo "NONCE error";
return;
}
$res = json_decode($json, true); //!
print_r($res);
}Where exactly is that $json being set?
