@ekine It’s called a nightly build because, when we have a working source tree, we post one every night. At the moment, we are heavily editing the plugin’s core classes, which “breaks” the build …if you installed it on your server, it wouldn’t run. So we have not updated the nightly build in quite some time. […]

@Ekine Not Sure about that, were are still working on BP-Media’s very core classes and functions, so until thats pretty much complete there is no point releasing a new build for people to test. 🙂

@ekine That’s not warnings, that’s me testing the API of Buddyvents (I’m the developer, by the way). What you see on the screenshot is actually a dumped query in JSON format, that your members could use to show events on their own website (doesn’t have to be WordPress). test.shabushabu.eu always runs the latest development version, so […]

@ekine Couln’t recreate the error, Ekine. Just created an event on the test site and it worked as it should. @bowromir Cheers, mate! Development cycle will slow down now a bit, though. I’ll spend more time now on my Jobboard plugin, to get that hopefully released within 2-3 weeks. Also, the mapping plugin will take up more […]

@Ekine,
Eric Johnson and I are developing a plugin to track individual user activity within BuddyPress. More info can be found here: http://heavyanalytics.com.What info, specifically, are you trying to track? Perhaps we can build it into our plugin.

@ekine Hmm … I haven’t actually faced this issue — will have to check this out. Does the firefox console show any javascript errors with this? And the rte settings are inherited based on user capabilities; so if you do disable the rte in wp-admin for users, it should get disabled on the front end too.

@Ekine Thats a plugin. If you use plugins you’ll have to fix it yourself. I can’t determine in advance what people will use so I’ve only styled the basic BP install. It’s easy enough to add html to a plugins theme files. Thanks for testing. I need it to see the friend request and message screens […]

@Ekine Yes, we are working on all of the features you mentioned, but this is a testing thread. Otherwise, thanks for the error report. Now, the next thing you can do that would *really really* help is try uploading 30 or so images from 3 different users using the batch uploader, and then go in and […]

Firefox doesn’t show any javascript errors. Yes, but when disabling the rte, all the links for “b” “i” “img” and so on are still visible. I’d like to see only a text field similar to the status update fiels or comment field, removing all the distraction from the viewers eye.
Strange — cause the issue is definitely with js. WIll have to investigate further.
So I was mimicking the wp-admin behaviour on this, reverting to the simple html tags version when the rich text editor is disabled. I’m directly using the_editor tag provided in wp-admin to render that text field.
