Since I forgot to test that last night… Same problems exist on the bp-default theme! Okay, now we’re cookin’ with heat.
Disabled my functions.php (renamed .txt) and the problem remains.

I too was a big supporter of those plugins. Thankfully, I was able to convince someone to revive at least one of them. This might work for at least the photo part of your problem.

Whats your theory. Mine is that the sploggers are deliberately targeting WordPress/ Buddypress to either drive users away. Maybe its a competing project lol
