@foxly no I mean I don’t think Godaddy servers support php5.3, which is what you I think told me in another thread somewhere, is required for this plugin to work.

@foxly I hear you. I activated and it was a christmas tree of errors. I’ll re-check and post some.

@foxly that sucks, I don’t think the new Media plugin is going to work with my host server.

@foxly is there a way to do something like that for the current version of Buddypress Media?

Question: youtube embeds aren’t recorded in the member’s activity? (I’m using the 8-8 nightly)

Also, when I try to upload an image I get this error: Fatal error: Call to undefined method BPM_MediaModule_Picture::get_content_types_extensions_map()

@foxly Ok sweet, I guess i’ll just wait for the latest release, i’ll just make do with 0.1.7 cause I’m using it on a production site. Once the next release comes out it should add a ton of functionality.

Thank you @foxly . The BuddyPress Media plugin’s future looks bright. All the privacy features and settings possibilities as you’ve explained are practical/logical. You do real good job on this and certainly I will suggest BP Media to a couple of my friends who might find it useful as well.
