I think I’m actually not the one one: https://bbpress.org/forums/topic/plugin-bbpress-force-login-for-buddypress

Does anyone know why it’s not working?

Thanks!!

Maybe there is an other plugin to do that, but I can’t actually find it ?

Hello!

I’ve just tried this plugin: https://buddypress.org/forums/topic.php?id=381#post-1515

And it’s actually not working. When I activate the plugin, the group forums disappear in all BP groups.

Moreover, When I check the admin page of each BP groups, I can’t see the “activate forum option” anymore.

I’ve tried to place the plugin in both bb-plugins and my-plugins directories.

I’m using:

WPmu 2.7.1

BP 1.0 (oh yeah!)

bbpress 1.0 alpha 6

Am I the only one having this problem? Maybe the plugin is not working with the last version of BP?

Thanks a lot!!

Hello Codyb,

Maythil is right, it should work, maybe try to delete the cache in your web browser and re-load your page again.

(and maybe use a logo.gif picture with the same size to begin).

Did you use PoEdit next?

And if you use the same logo, you should change the same file in the bphome theme as well

Hello Codyb,

There you have two websites where you can find some BP themes:

http://www.buddydress.com/

http://www.freebpthemes.com/

I’m happy, 1st time I can help someone there;-)

Hi John James Jacoby,

Just to say I think the link at the end of this topic https://buddypress.org/forums/topic.php?id=2043&page=2should be https://buddypress.org/forums/topic.php?id=2329.

and as usual, if it’s not clear enough, no problem, don’t hesitate to let me know!

[@gaetanbuddypress Participant 17 years, 6 months ago]

I\’ve tried twice, and now, IT’S WORKING perfectly!

I think I made a mistake using the database during the bbpress installation.

[@gaetanbuddypress Participant 17 years, 6 months ago]

Thanks Burt, I’m going to try again.

[@gaetanbuddypress Participant 17 years, 6 months ago]

(When I’ve activated the share users data base between BP and bbPress, the bbpress admin panel desapeared, even if i add /bb-admin. Next, when I log in bbPress, as user or as admin…, I can’t write a post or start a new topic anymore).

I don’t know if there is a link between everiything…?

And no problem, don’t hesitate to let me know if it is not clear enough!

Hello Vida,

I think WordPress MU “2.7” is not available right now.

(PS: “WordPress” is not “WordPress Mu”)

Hello Edeutsch,

I think it’s not possible to have a calendar listing group events right now.

Yes “jbzz”, the ability to create events, invite people, rsvp, and send messages to attendees would be really great. Really nice fonctions for buddypress groups. I will use them as soon as they are available, for sure!!
