Do you have a child theme, or buddypress template pack installed? Or do you have default theme?

Well, @hnla might be more insulted when you call that “silly” since she was the one who provided that solution that worked for many people.

Have you changed your database info ever? Changing database info can cause this to happen.

Don’t do that, because now when any user clicks “Add Friend”, it will just do nothing, and not request it.

You will have to do it via css background-image:url('img_tree.png');

Well because that certain page could have a missing div error, or alignment issues…

It could be some theme modifications that will need to do, custom themes take work on getting them to fit with buddypress. Will need to tinker with your CSS template to make sure the wrapper isn’t overlapping, or pushing anything down.

So there is no other way to post a image in the activity stream?!

Well depending on if your theme has the sidebar on the “right” or “left”, it should stay there unless the content is pushing it somewhere else.

This isn’t really a buddypress issue, unless it’s only on buddypress pages.

The “Add Friend” button won’t work because the is different from <div class=&quot;generic-button&quot; where you can just hook the icon into the generic button through image tags.
