1st. This is a Buddypress support forum only, not questions about wordpress plugins.
2. There are many plugins out there that would fit your taste, you must go searching for the right one, not us.
3. Don’t bump posts more than once every 24 hours.

What is wrong with the sidebar? I can’t seen anything really wrong from your site.
You need to be more specific!

Well I was assuming he was meaning buddypress because it was posted on the buddypress forums….
But because he was talking about *host* he could of been talking about wordpress- it was unclear.

Post count of that user also can be showed. Devs can add any user category they want (e.g Group […]

@stevieg, there is nothing more that you are required to do than to remove the WordPress Admin bar, that they added.
Don’t get worried over nothing, updating to wordpress 3.1 is safe, it’s been a fare share amount of time since it was updated, so plugins can update their compatibility with it also.

So I tell you a solution for you to try, and you call it silly? Do you even know why I told you to do that? Have you even tried it? The most likely reason that it’s doing this is because the forum ID is not entered. Unchecking, and rechecking, re-enters the ID. So before calling […]

Thats because you have a
max-width:
css applied somewhere in your bp-css, because the content is overlapping the sidebar, and it’s getting pushed down to the bottom. I can’t pinpoint exactly where it is, You, must go searching in your css and find it, and tinker to make it fit in your theme. :), otherwise, I would […] -

unless you have physically made changes, or have removed the get_sidebar from the files.
What have you imported? What styles from bp have you put into your theme? the entire default.css?

Virtuali posted on the forum topic Background and Sidebar Issues in the group How-To and Troubleshooting: 13 years, 8 months ago
Looks like you implemented some CSS from the buddypress default theme, most likely a Max-width css attribute. It’s overlapping the sidebar. I couldn’t pinpoint it off the top of my head…
It’s probably under the
/* > Global Elements
or/* > Container

No, not the buddypress css, your Theme’s Style.CSS. The easiest way to access this is in the wordpress admin –> Go down to the theme editor, and go down to the bottom to your style.css. Now find this piece of css:
/* Main Content -------------- */ #content { width:960px; margin: 0px auto;
right below the last […] - Load More
