Ok, now I am under suspicion of an conflicting plugin.

Deactivate ALL your plugins and see if it’s a plugin.

NO, this is NOT a buddypress problem.

If you mark a user as Spammer, does it block him from logging in?

Use a plugin called “wp-ban” to ban users

What versions of wp and bp are you using?

Do you have buddypress installed? This is not really a bp issue. Although if you do have buddypress installed, just mark him as spammer

You have some CSS problem in your theme.

You must search the plugins yourself 🙂 in the plugins directory, and if there are none that meet your needs, then you must create it yourself.

You shouldn’t really need that put again if you have a child theme for buddypress.

That plugin is only compatible up to wordpress 3.05.

Look at the $bp global, at the $bp->loggedin_user object, which contains the ID, URL and name of the currently logged in user. $bp->loggedin_user->domain is what you are looking for.
