If I want the rest of my pages protected also, should I only use this trick on:
– activity-loop.php
– blogs-loop.php (nevermind this one, I don’t use blogs from users)
– groups-loop.php
– members-loop.php
or do I have to protect more files?

Does anyone know how I can make the adminbar show up normally?

@0815 you can integrate BBpres in Buddypress. Buddypress has an build-in integration manager for BBpress.

You should install BBpress. Then you can make a connection between Buddypress and BBpress.

A sollution for this problem would be helpful for me too.

You should be able to fix this problem quite easy. I think the folder sitename.com/wp-content/uploads/ doesn’t have the right permissions. You should chmod them to 707 or 777. This way, Buddypress can create a “avatars” folder inside your uploads folder.

It should work after it.

For me too. **** it. After I upgraded to BP 1.2.4, my Dutch language files in the BP-languages folder were gone :'(.

Yeah, now I see what caused the problem. I had groups with the second and third privacy option checked only. When I added a group without any privacy limiting options, I saw their topics on the forums page.
