Yoast is fantastic for WP, sadly not so much for BP.

Yoast isn’t compatible with parts of BuddyPress @ubernaut – try seeing if page titles for member profiles work for you. I’d be interested to know.

@megainfo SeoPress is fantastic actually, seems to be the only plugin that tries to be compatible with BP. As for the 70%, that sounds spot on. A few bits could be improved

I’ve come across that thread before. Unfortunately the solution no longer works. Perhaps it did work at some point in the past but not with today’s version of the plugin and BP 1.7.

@modemlooper I know it isn’t rocket science to know what the plugin will do but any chance you have a demo?

Just to add, at larger width/height sizes that function seems to assume a thumb size so you have to specify type=full along with your width and height or you’ll get a blurry photo.

In addition to displaying the favorite count under each activity item, it would be nice to display a list of usernames who have favourited that item. Each usernames could be linked to the corresponding profile page. Similar to how the Instagram feed currently looks.

I think this would add a new level of engagement to the activity stream.

Using a fresh install of WP 3.5.1. Tried 3 different versions of BP (1.6.1 / 1.6.4 / 1.7.1 ). Aside from BP, no plugins activated accept BP Follow. Same outcome each time.

Resolved. It was in fact a problem with my (customised) global.js. No one else should have the issue so I won’t go into an explanation of how I fixed.

When you’re creating your profile fields you can drag each field up or down which will help control the order of them.

The email address, username, password and repeat password fields are part of register.php. If you want to change the order of how these are displayed then you will need to open that file and reorder them manually.
