When I get the chance I’ll try and wrap it as a plugin – in the meantime there was a plugin being written by travel_junkie that may suit, not sure how far that’s come in development.

any news on a patch or bit of code to display a members username as an alt tag for avatar images?
The code needs to go onto bp-core-avatars but so far I can’t get anything other than a static description ie ‘avatar image’

WP 3.0 BP 1.2.5.2

Forum threads, comments, updates, heck all of it is getting outside the groups as non-members of those hidden and private groups are telling me. I’ve logged out and witnessed it myself.

Any way to fix this?

@r-a-y @hnla – Just for sanity’s sake, I tried again. This time via “Super Admin > Blogs”. I clicked “Edit”, then added an existing user to the sub-blog that way. Works.
