@imath I have also used wpmu earlier – if someone has updated in the right way from 2.9.x to 3.0, the folder-structure also has changed – i.e. with another update to 3.1 there shouldn’t be any problems with wrong paths.

Thanks for the fast reply, @imath. I think there must still be a step missing. I’ve created uploads/bpmh-widgets in wp-content and copied the zip-widgets *.zip files there. I unzipped them and even left the zip files there, just in case. It still appears that no widgets are active and trying to activate them, of course, brings […]

I’ve done something approaching in another plugin :bp code snippets, where it’s possible to add snippet from the front end in forum posts. To do so you need to use shortcode api, a custom request then on the button click use jQuery to paste the shortcode in the textarea. The shortcode will look like [you-identifier…[Read more]

I’m sorry BP My Home cannot add a blog.
To let users add posts on a main blog, you should look for tdo mini forms or other form plugins that let users contribute from the front end.
To let users create their own blogs, you need to make sure you’re WordPress has the network activated : https://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network

Hi @imath,
sorry for the late reply. I needed to deactivate my plugins ones by ones, to find the conflict.
It was the s2member plugin which makes the conflict. I will try now to find out a way to fix this.Thanks for your fast help.

@imath, Make sure you remove the last “}” at the end or remind your users to because it will cause an “unexpected” fatal error.
About the window popup, it was functioning before, I have no idea what happened, maybe I should go to the earlier version, as the plugin is useless without it.

Hi @imath, after the update from wp 3.0.3 to 3.0.4 and buddypress 1.2.7 i thing a new bug popped up.
If I try to add a snippet in the forum as a normal user, the user profile is opened in the add-snippet-window.

@imath Hey, just to let you know, code snippets appears to knock out buddystream functionality. I dont know why this would be. For example. The tweets come through as ‘x posted a tweet’ but without the tweet. Any ideas?

i imagine that BuddyStream records data in wp_bp_activity table, so from my point of view the trouble can only come from my filter on the function that records the data, maybe you should try by commenting lines 386 to 395 in `wp-content/plugins/bp-code-snippets/bp-code-snippets.php`.

What do you mean by “a most liked widget” ?
Do you know anyone with buddypress css skills? This terrible way to reply to posts is something I want to fix. With regards to the most liked. I use bplike which seems to have been abandoned. A ‘most liked’ today, this week, all time would be ideal: http://bplike.wordpress.com/
