Hi I am not sure if there’s now (seven months later) a better idea…. Is it possible for a contributor to subscribe at a sub blog, rather than going to the route buddypress install to register?
Thanks in advance
@Hyrxx thanks for the advice. I will do that. I am no programmer but I for see that someone will come up with a widget that allows you to grab a username from the blog you are currently visiting.
For the time being I’ll have to do the long way round
Hi I you read this please know that this is the only way for me to communicate with Buddypress forum. I am cannot create any new post. I must be banded. I am not sure what I did wrong. You may be connected and tell the powers that. I have emailed Andy Peatling at his web contact form and I have had no response.
Just to show you: I created this post https://buddypress.org/forums/topic.php?id=2092#post-11239 and it\’s non-existent as I create it. See if you can find it. It\’s an amazing shit feeling to be ignored even if buddypress is free.
I came here because I want such a theme but a stable core, or a one click mu/bbpress/bp install is my first choice. Go for it!
Hi I have noted that with mu 2.7 branch you cannot deactivate a group and then activate it as it does not create the group at bbpress. I can only create a group/forum when I delete and recreate from scratch.
Hi BuddyPress is Core: 1.0-RC1 / Messages: 1.0-RC1 / Profile: 1.0-RC1 / Groups: 1.0-RC1 / Friends: 1.0-RC1 / Blogs: 1.0-RC1 / Activity: 1.0-RC1 / Wire: 1.0-RC1 / Forums: 1.0-RC1 /
MU 2.7
Some more symptoms or are they causes:
When I try and search for a member/user created at MU I cannot find the member. When I update the member/user’s profile at buddypress I get the member/user.
From an error message I am being told in bp that a member need to have complete at least one field in their profile to be active.
I have 2.7 mu and download my first BP three days ago (this should be the latest…basically tell you that I don’t know the version).
