In reply to: Members Page has error
It’s a little hard to diagnose without a link as could be a few things but let’s see about some common ones first.
– have you changed your perm links at all?
– are you using a plugin that has changed them / what happens when you remove all plugins aside from BuddyPress? Does it work then?
– does the members page actually exist?If none of those apply a link and if that’s not possible more information like version, theme and plugins would help drill down to the problem.

In reply to: Moving Buddypress sidebar to the leftYou’re going to have to do a few edits like this:
div#content .padder {
margin-left: 225px;
}div#sidebar {
float: left;
width: 224px;
margin-right: -226px;
}div#content {
float: right;
width: 100%;
}
A in view your profile or view the members profile? I ask as two different things.
In reply to: Apply CSS style to divUnless I’m not seeing it right in your source you don’t have a class of single or page on those pages above post therefore it won’t pick it up. What you should have is an identifier class like that in the body class calls you can use.
If you mean the theme is saving your options most themes with options will add a line in you database table for those options. That is how it remembers.
In reply to: HELP! I broke it!!It sounds a bit dramatic but removal all themes leaving default – copy to safe place if need. If that doesn’t work try same process with plugins then build up again.
In reply to: HELP! I broke it!!Do you have the template pack on for BuddyPress? Some themes don’t need it.
In reply to: BuddyPress 1.5 compatibility for plugins and themesThank you
In reply to: WP Admin position fixed & absolute problemBy ‘somewhere else’ what do you mean have it just stay at the top or are you looking to remove it or show it somewhere else… the later isn’t easy.
In reply to: BuddyPress 1.5 compatibility for plugins and themesCool thankyou, keep them coming.
@boonebgorges : sorry to ask but can you remove the text on those pages as it’s no longer valid and unless I’m wrong editing pages messes them up with iframe?
In reply to: Cannot Create new GroupsJust as a sanity check have you got the setting turned on to allow groups?
Under components have you turned enabled Groups: Let users create, join and participate in groups.
Are you signed in as admin or signed in as a user and does it make a difference to seeing group creation?
If you have a little more information would be great such as what version of BuddyPress / WordPress you are using and also the theme you are using? Does the problem happen with all plugins turned off (I know it can be a pain but it’s good to sanity check them)? Also maybe you can provide a link to your site?
In reply to: BuddyPress 1.5 compatibility for plugins and themesCool sounds good cracking job.
In reply to: BuddyPress 1.5 compatibility for plugins and themesI dunno I go offline for one day…. hehe great work though woot to getting the page. So, in summary I can’t edit the page but we can have the iframe in it right?
In reply to: Need BuddyPress Chat Plugin recommendationsThere are a few here may suit: https://buddypress.org/extend/plugins/?search=chat
In reply to: Posts Reply on every pageI assume you mean the comments and comment form? If so, I can roughly suggest you use the following code:
` `
This will show a comment form and the comments if you have any. However, it all depends on the theme you are using. Would you be able to provide a link to your theme?
In reply to: BuddyPress 1.5 compatibility for plugins and themesWill get that sorted trying to get the spreadsheet to work in the page to save time currently but will get it marked as not fail because of those.
In reply to: Favorite blog postSome may or may not fit what you are after here https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tags/favorite
Not tried it but using usual WordPress function logic wouldn’t user_id=1,6843 work?

In reply to: BuddyPress 1.5 compatibility for plugins and themesJust to check, when you say up to date are you using the beta BuddyPress 1.5 or 1.2.9? I ask as the template pack hasn’t been updated yet so could be the issue.
