Hey @grafcom, thanks for the response. I did eventually find the email repair. Tried it. It didn’t work. Used a different SMTP plugin that was able to find the error occurring in my system. It is saying this:
Your Web Host provider may have installed a firewall between you and the server.
Contact the admin of the server and ask if they allow outgoing communication on port 25,465,587.
It seems like they are blocking certain traffic. Ask them to open the ports.
If anybody knows how to fix this issue, I would appreciate any help.
I am talking to my webhost provider, Cloudways, right now. It’s been about an hour and they are still working on it. This doesn’t appear to be an easy issue to resolve.
I am having the same issue. If someone could help us out, it would be appreciated.
I cannot find the mythical Buddypress Email Repair. Tried all other options. Mail SMTP is sending emails successfully.
If there is another membership plugin that doesn’t have this problem, I’d love to hear about it. Ultimate Member is not very good in my eyes, but I can’t use Buddypress if my students can’t activate their accounts.
