I figured out the activity menu issue, but is there really no way to move this check box to the bottom of the first column? It looks that way on mobile.

    Here’s the page it’s happening on https://www.charlottemasoneducation.org/register/

Also, on my registration form, there is a check box to sign up for our newsletter, but the text is in a very thin column so it isn’t legible. There are three letters per line. Do you know how/where I would fix this?

Thank you. I tried that plugin and it worked except for my Members and Group page links in the menu still showed as well as the members avatars on the sidebar on pages. It seems like every which way I go some functionality is missing. I finally got it to where I wanted it on my other site which is why I’m trying to figure that out. I’ve spent more hours than I’d like to admit working on this. I really wish BuddyPress would make it a standard feature to privatize a site and monitor registration. I’ve been wishing for that since I had a paid ning site years ago.

OK, I switched the slug of my forum to “forums” and it seems to have fixed the issue. Not sure if maybe It was originally plural and I switched it to “forum” and that messed things up. Anyway, it’s resolved by switching it to the plural form.

It works for Events and Groups, but not for the Forum page for some reason. It’s also strange that for that page only, setting Astra theme’s page settings to “no sidebar” doesn’t work. I wonder if it’s something with bbPress?

Ok will do. Do you know of any plugin that you can recommend to make Buddypress Private and allows for approval required registration?

“BP Registration Options” plugin makes Buddypress elements private, but it should redirect users to the registration page, not the home page so users know they have to login. Is that a bad plugin? Are there any other plugins that work?

Because adding them as xprofile fields doesn’t add them to the TML registration page that I need to use. Have you looked at the TML instructions? I followed them exactly and they don’t use xprofile fields so it’s glitchy.
