You will want to modify the index.php file in your child theme’s forum directory. (/wp-content/themes/childtheme/forums/index.php) The form action is the important section to modify.

I’ve seen this error before and cleared it up by removing the /uploads directory and recreating it. Set permissions to 755 (owner should be correct too). Next go to /wp-admin/options-media.php and make sure you leave this as default /wp-content/uploads (leave it blank)… tick the

There are also some spacing issues here: http://durkkooistra.com/brownbuddy/groups/ — the word “member” runs into the sidebar with Google chrome.

@cmubrad – I don’t know all of the details of that theme but the easiest is to install the site wide activity plugin and use a widget in the sidebar.

The easiest is to modify the php files in your theme as well as the css files. In particular, I modified the /activity/index.php file by removing the sidebar code near the bottom of the file.

The code for the activity loop may be placed in the index.php page. Make sure you add the loop with the commenting enabled.

Any thoughts on why my posts were marked as spam?
I’m beginning to become insulted that I was marked as a spammer on bbpress.org. Your help would be appreciated in getting this cleared up. After all, I wanted to help with the bbpress plugin in terms of buddypress integration.

I now see that an almost exact post to mine was posted on bbpress by someone else and they were not marked as a spammer. Being ignored here and there is too discouraging – I’m done for now. Energies can be directed elsewhere.
