Nothing happened after activation. I had another FB share working before this one, but since i had BP, I thought this would work better. Nothing happened
-
Can you give more info about what version BP you are running and any other plugins?
-

Yes, having the up to date plugins is not a solution. You must have a plugin and or theme that is causing a conflict. If you are using a custom theme them that could be the problem. This works on many sites so it must be something specific to your install. Try deactivating all plugins accept BP share it and test each plugin to find the problem.

After updating to the latest version of BP this has stopped working for me as well.

I think you should check the Buddypress Share It setup page to see if you have the options setup
-
Hi modemlooper, really like your work. However I got a problem using this plugin. I ticked some box in the setup page and hit Save changes. The page reloads but none was ticked. It wouldn’t save the options I selected. I am using your citizen kane theme.

Same here… is there a solution for this?

@DJPaul I just realized that it is Buddypress I should address this issue too. I had to turn off my member registration and now do it by invitation and manually. Is not there a registration process by which the web manager can review and approve the registrant first before they go spamming and hacking all over the board?

@DJPaul Hi Paul. The new 3.0.4 WordPress upgrade is available. Is it advisable to install it at this time?
-
Yep. It’s very important that you do.

It’s not buddypress. It’s the PLUGIN bp-community-blogs that is the problem causer

i also found it useful to refresh my browser often while troubleshooting, otherwise it was bringing up older error messages that were defuncts sometimes.

yes, of course, and i tried it several times. then, instead, i renamed the sub dir mentioned at the offending dir, and tried that, and then the theme had been recaste, so i switched it back to the buddy theme … so it saw the buddy theme without this other subdir, after i reset the […]
