Or is there any way to enable comments on buddypress pages, I’m using the wordpress HTML changes at the moment which may explain why it messes up the sidebar?

Hmm, I see what you mean! I’ve unplugged all my plugins and the forums are now working for me. If i manually type the address i have no problems but for some reason that link doesnt work. Any idea why not?
