@modemlooper how’s it going? Getting to themes yet? Sorry for bothering, you have definitely a lot of work to do at this quick time. The left sidebar is the only thing that I haven’t figured out yet, everything else is now working as expected. Is there maybe any temporary solution? Some quick code that would to this?

Thank you @lightcapturer! Although the plugin didn’t do what I needed, it led me to another plugin that does: https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/members/

Thanks!

Will someone make a plugin for that if I pay for it?

[@matuh Participant 15 years, 2 months ago]

Really need a solution for this. Anyone?

[@matuh Participant 15 years, 2 months ago]

No ideas? IMHO this is a really needed functionality. Should be built in, but isn’t there a plugin that can to this?

[@matuh Participant 15 years, 2 months ago]

BuddyPress Registration Options is not working with 1.5. I really need this.

[@matuh Participant 15 years, 2 months ago]

Awesome @modemlooper! When can we expect the new version?

[@matuh Participant 15 years, 2 months ago]

Yes, I’m using it now and it’s all good. Except BP Columns theme cannot be used any more to generate the left sidebar. I really need this. Does anybody have a solution how to make a left sidebar?

[@matuh Participant 15 years, 2 months ago]

I found the answer. They are using the latest beta version. It has the drop down menus.

[@matuh Participant 15 years, 2 months ago]

One more thing with this theme. http://testbp.org/discussion/ has drop down menus. Is it using a plugin for that? I read from some forum that drop down is soon integrated into BuddyPress default theme, but it was 9 months ago. Isn’t it still integrated?

Thank you Sofian! The shortcodes helped me out.

I’m going crazy here. Where can I get instructions how to create a forum page like this: http://testbp.org/discussion/ ? I have searched everywhere. I have asked from the admins in testbp, but no answer. It is not possible that there is no help how to set up this kind of forum.
Does anybody know who has set up this forum? How is this done? Are they using bbPress WordPress plugin or is it a standalone bbPress forum installation that is integrated into WP and BB?
Any help is appreciated!

Somehow I got to show the forum main page, but all the forums and topics are now redirected to Group Forums Directory. I do not want to use groups forums. What could be the problem?

[@matuh Participant 15 years, 2 months ago]

Then I have no idea why my forum pages are not showing up :S

[@matuh Participant 15 years, 2 months ago]

Yes, but it doesn’t show bbPress links. It seems that they have modified it.

[@matuh Participant 15 years, 2 months ago]

Like this I ment: http://testbp.org/discussion/

[@matuh Participant 15 years, 2 months ago]

Or is there an other way how to setup a forum like this into BuddyPress?

[@matuh Participant 15 years, 2 months ago]

Yes, I’m talking about the bbPress plugin.

[@matuh Participant 15 years, 2 months ago]

I want bbPress and BuddyPress to work simultaneously. I can get bbPress to work OK, but when I install BuddyPress, it’s not working anymore. Tried the Forums setup in BuddyPress admin, but it doesn’t do anything.
Would like to have the same system as: http://testbp.org/discussion/

Sorry, but I still don’t understand how to achieve this. Can somebody please give some specific instructions? Thanks!
