Well, i try also to change my avatar on buddypress.org an get this error:

Upload Failed! Error was: Unable to create directory /home/buddypress/public_html/wpmu/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/avatars/146228. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

Well, no fix for this bug? Hope 1.3 get a bugfix for this ticket.

I tryed a ticket but its cloesd now (https://trac.buddypress.org/ticket/2246) Any solution for this problem. Looks like i´m not allone with this bug. If i deactivate the buddypress-default theme, it works fine, registration is possible. But not with the buddypress-theme.

Any solutions out there?

Well, i get the same trouble and it looks like i get it after update to the last buddypress-version.

/register/ redirect to the homepage. I use wpmu – latest version. Anyone how knows a solution? Thanks for help! M

Well, the code for the post_author link is more simple as the plugin:

/members/<?php the_author_login() ?>”>

Get the same and my “workaround” are (because i get a white-screen on /wp-admin):

– rename buddypress-folder under /plugins

– login on wp-admin

– go to “Plugins” and the buddypress-plugin deactivated automatic

– rename buddypress-folder under /plugins to the old one

– activate the plugin

And all works fine now.

Well, its the same. Its referer to bp-themes an not to themes where my home-theme (and some css-files, images and javascripts are).

@donnacha: just tried a “clean” machine (pc) and still the same opera-problem. safari 4 (beta/pc) works great.

@apeatling: It works fine, but not with Opera. I get no “fconnect” button an the top-menu with the Opera (mac). Can you check it?

There a lot off people out without a iphone, with classics mobile devices. I use f.eks. the iphone-apps for ebay and facebook. Its more comfortable and optimized.

A “mobile” Plugin will be nice: WordPress-App with full access til buddypress and a plugin, som du kan bruk til mobile oppdatering av Blog/Gallery. WordPress has a Mobblog-Function, not WPMU, but i think “mobile devices are the future”.

@burtadsit: blog_by_email works just in WordPress, not in WordPress MU or i found no possibility to include this function via WPMU-Plugin. But that is not the right forum for WPMU – Plugin discussions..

Well. I spend a lot of hours this weekend and i found out: trunk r664 + bbpress alpha 3 + wpmu trunk 1574 works for me an the forum works for new groups (not for the old one). If i update to the latest buddypress trunk (r682), i can´t post in to a forum – and i get no error messages. Nothing happens also with bbpress alpa 4 and the latest buddypress trunk (r682).
