Is it possible to assign Groups to Forums?

@binutz sure, modifications should be done in child theme. And yes, you can just delete get_sidebar from the register.php file. No problem.

@tibmix No.  Do not give away your super admin username and password even if they ask you a thousand and one times or more. It’s as simple as that.

@binutz replace <div class="padder"> with <div class="pad-registration"> in your register.php

Then in your child theme’s stylesheet add:
div.pad-registration { padding: 19px; }
