Probably JS conflict. You should contact the theme author about this issue or check in theme author’s forums whether other users have experienced the same and what the resolution/s would be.

Depends. You might have set some groups to public and thus have public forums while you set up the others as private groups which then have respective private forums.

It depends on the album/gallery plugin you’d be using for your installation. Each could/would have a different method for working with CDN.
