@@rmandersen no, there’s no plugin like what you want at this time. There was someone who mentioned he would be releasing one sometime ago, but it didn’t pan out.

@chr313 no problem with periods or ellipsis [ … ] at end of Title of Group Forum Topic at all. Have you tried deactivating plugins or changing to bp-default theme to check if issue is corrected.

@jcaynes this plugin https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress-private-community/ has not been updated for BP 1.5+. Delete it from your installation.
