What theme were/are you using? There’s something getting lost in translation and we’re speaking in the same language.

Check two areas:
– server: see if there’s a bb-config.php file at root of your WP install, same level where you find the wp-config.php
– database: check if 7 tables were generated in your database or not. See […]

Change to bp-default theme. If issue is corrected, then its the premium theme that in all probability needs to be updated. Also, looks like the theme dev does provide support at TF.

You might just need to “jog” system up a bit. Go back to the Group > Admin where you enabled forums, and disable forums, and Save. Go to another page then go back to Group > Admin and enable forums and Save.

@hiresphereadmin please contact theme devs or check out their forums if someone has resolved same issue.

You need to enable the forum for your Group first. https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/installing-group-and-sitewide-forums/4/#enable-group-forum

You should contact theme devs about why the theme fails to upgrade in your server. Perhaps you can get a zipped file instead and do a manual upload of the files to theme folder in server.

What theme are you using? Have you changed back to bp-default theme to check if issue is corrected there? Did you disable Account Settings and/or other components in BuddyPress > Components?

Some themes have not been updated for BP 1.5+ To make sure that this is not an outdated theme issue, please change to bp-default theme. Then try to register and see if issue is corrected.
