BP version? Did you install the site in question before or after your server crash? If you deactivate BuddyPress as well, do you still have a blank page? How are your other BP sites working out?

Just surprised that you’re using tables for your layout except the BuddyPress area. Moving on, it’s all then a matter of adding styles to your BuddyPress components – floating images and lists.

@hkcharlie bp-social theme is a premium theme and we’re not privy to the template intracacies of that theme without purchasing one. You should be able to get free support for the paid theme.

I was suspecting something was awry when I saw this in your page source previously with wp-content/mu-plugins/bp-core/something.js. Now all I see are blank pages. Installing BP?

Go to Admin Dashboard menu Plugins > plugins and you’ll the list of plugins and descriptions. Go to Buddypress and note the version number stated in description.

@kelky7 go to your plugins page e.g. http://yoursite.com/wp-admin/plugins.php and the version number will show up there. It does look like you’re using the old version of BP. Recommend that you back up your DB and server files then upgrade to 1.1, then to 1.2, 1.2.5, then to latest BP 1.2.8 version.

@TGIwebsite if you did not create the Community page then it could be hardcoded in your theme’s header.php under main navigation. Open up header.php and search and replace community with “Social”

phpBB would be a different beast altogether because unlike Mingle Forums which is a WP plugin and shares userbase, you have to use a plugin which is not updated regularly to bridge WP and phpBB. If you’re using BuddyPress, better and much easier to use bundled bbPress forums.

Go to BuddyPress > General Settings and make sure that Groups are enabled

Then go to http://yoursite.com/groups and click on the “Create a Group” link beside the Groups directory page title.

Sorry, I suspect only a few handful would consider using Mingle forums when bbPress is already bundled in BuddyPress. I can only suspect that URI to Mingle Forums would be “yoursite.com/forums” which conflicts with default slug and therefore URI of our bundled forums.
