@larrysmith1000 If you’re created a child theme of bp-default theme, did you surround the code in functions.php file with opening at bottom?

If I recall, fishbook theme is a child theme of bp-default theme. So if there’s no header.php there, download a copy here https://trac.buddypress.org/browser/tags/1.2.8/bp-themes/bp-default/header.php – download link at the bottom of the page.
