@uniqcon89 you should not require those who are trying to help you to register in your site. You can provide a throw-away username and password so that you can delete that user when the troubleshooting is done.

@leonardlapena Have you asked yahoo hosting tech support if you can install BuddyPress there with your current plan? In your BP in godaddy, did you check if registration works if you deactivate BuddyPress?

second – what theme are you using? Most themes have option to have blog posts in home page or have a widget area where you can list the number of recent posts, etc.

@marbler one of the reasons you would like to create a child theme is that the changes (CSS or HTML or JS, etc) you make on child theme won’t be overwritten when parent theme is upgraded.

– Are you still using your BP Default Child theme? Or a different theme now?
– If still on BP Default Child theme, did you create a folder named registration in your Child Theme folder and copied over the activate.php and register.php files which you revised into that registration folder?
