@jeffp808 looks like conflict with jcrop. Change to Twenty Twelve theme and check if cropping is corrected. If not, deactivate other plugins batch by batch except BuddyPress to check which is interfering with cropping.

@akukskuks Never seen it myself before. Are you on a multisite installation? Are you the super admin of that multisite installation or just the site admin of a subsite? Do you have any membership plugin which could have caused conflict? Did you create/delete another site/super admin account?

@tuliodc not quite clear. You mean you go to dashboard Settings > BuddyPress > Components/Pages/orSettings and when you click on some sections, you go to a 404 page?

@prolet Cannot recreate the issue. Where are you hosted? Some servers have own caching system which can interfere with the notifications. Have you tried clearing cache on your end?

Have you done basic troubleshooting like deactivating all plugins except BuddyPress and changing to Twenty Twelve theme to see if issue is resolved?

@coachxo as ubernaut noted above, you can use BuddyPress in subdomain http://buddypress.example.com or in subdirectory http://www.example.com/buddypress but not in domain root like mybuddypresssite.com
