I did that on bp_adminbar_login_menu successfully, but when it comes to bp_adminbar_account_menu, the array codes beyond my ability, so I am thinking to use bp_core_remove_subnav_item. @mercime Thank you!!! It was my .htaccess file.

I had to add the following line to the end of my .htaccess file. This tells the webserver to user PHP5 instead of PHP4 (for anyone that doesn’t know). I had to do this with my other 1and1 hosted sites, including my Joomla sites.

AddType x-mapp-php5 .php
