@mercime – If a person doesn’t want to let people created blogs, but only wants to create a social network (without blogs) then single blog mode works great for that. And in that case the site operator can still decide whether to be the only blogger or to allow other people to write blog posts.

@mercime thanks, know it’s slightly confusing.
In reality we are converting the current BuddyPress theme to our WordPress theme & enabling BP features on that.
Will revisit the tutorial soon and see if I can explain any better.

the first blog is wp 2.9.1, other, not working, is 2.9.2 and bp 1.2.4.1. the second one is installed in a separate folder.

did you delete it from the first blog? i can’t really delete anything from the fist blog, where i’m also using a shopp plugin
